That's a beauty, love Demons . . . my first car below in '72 was a '70 B5 Blue Dart 318 cid photo is from '73-'74.
My current Mopar is a 2018 Challenger RT . . .

My favorite year of Polara. One that got away was a '70 Polara, 440 with a 3 on the tree - former South Dakota highway patrol - it was about $500 as I recall back in the mid 1980s. The reason I didn't buy it was you couldn't remove the key from the ignition, but as I look back I think the only issue was the shift linkage needed slight adjustment. The shifter needed to be in reverse to remove the key, and just wouldn't quite go up far enough.
Anyhow, beautiful car - enjoy it despite the wet blanket comments.

My brother in law used to have those comic books when he was little...also Mikki Hiiri (sp?) My wife is from Kannus, near Kokkola 
And just so this is not a vere to far, my parents had a 1969 Chrysler Town & Country station wagon, same power train, what a great car that was! But fuel then was 29 cents per gallon!

I bought this 1970 Chrysler Newport Hardtop with a 383 4 bbl in 1976, It only had 32k on it when I got it. My dad's B5 Blue Plymouth Fury that he bought new in 1968 is parked in front of it, I took my drivers license test in it in '72.

As I was approaching age 16 as a kid in the '70s, I couldn't wait to get my 1st car. I worked at a Texaco gas station for minimum wage and saved just about every cent I made for 2 years in preparation for buying a car. I finally accumulated $1,800 and was ready to get one. Of course as a little gear head I was only interested in "cool" muscle cars.
After searching for several months it came down to two choices.
So I guess that would classify me as an "almost" Vintage Mopar Owner.
Whenever I see any year GTX at a car show or on the internet I am always drawn towards it. I'd take a '67, '69 or '70 too! "The gentleman's muscle car".

- 1968 Plymouth GTX 440 Magnum loaded w/AC, PS, PW, PB, AT - Orange w/black interior (bad to the bone)! $1,500 w/80,000 miles
- 1970 Chevelle SS396 4-speed - Orange w/black stripes, black interior (bad to the bone)! $1,800 w/60,000 miles
