Big time. Unfortunately (for me), it was his career (later in life as a TV repairman), so he wasn't really ever too interested in hi-fi as a hobby!

Actually, I'll be picking his brain tomorrow as to what's wrong with my new Scott LK-72. One channel's output is low and lacking in bass. I measured voltages on the preamp tubes (power section is working OK), and I can't make any sense of one channel relative to the other! Time to call in the consultant!
