What gives?

I have a friend at work who might want to sell his JBL L36's. I did a search here on "JBL L36" with no matches. Can anyone give me any feedback on these speakers? Thanks.

Very decent bookshelf speaker with a "West Coast" sound -- forward. You may find yourself backing the mid and tweeter off with the controls. Only item that has worn out in the 32 years I've had mine are the foam surrounds.

I thought the L36s to be really nice-sounding JBLs -- one of my favourite listens, they were. Buy 'em without hesitation if it's a reasonable price. :thmbsp:
