We have had,on a previous thread about this dude,a chap come forward to say that he had bought from him.The component was shipped to him from Japan.
Thus it is clear,that he has a connection in the Japan.The connection has access to a supply of second-hand high quality hi-fi gear.He does not rip-off his connection.He is incredibly contemptuous of his clientele.Witness his reaction in a reply e-mail to a Sansui enthusiast who had the temerity to expect that the component works as described.(The original post is in one of the links I posted earlier):
"Well, I just emailed him a little while ago (via Ask Seller a Question on Ebay) and I got a response back from (him)? Email name in my Inbox was Geiger Muller ?? Here is what he wrote to me:
You are a funny man, but not too smart. You posted the bullshit comments on the tunnerfan website.... I love Sansui units as much as you do if not more. But I realized last summer that most Sansui units are pushing 25, 30 years old. That is why I sold off all my collection. You are hanging on to 30 year old piece that will of course give you problem because of their age, not because people tamper with them. THINK MY MAN. Now I collect Accuphase my oldest piece is only 5 years old. and they are better quality than Sansui. Here is a word of advice from one sansui lover to another. LET GO OF YOUR SANSUI UNITS. I can help you built an accuphase collection. WISE UP!!!
PS IT DOES NOT MATTER WHO YOU GET YOUR SANSUI FROM, IT WILL GIVE YOU PROBLEMS BECAUSE OF THEIR AGES....WHEN YOU UNDERSTAND THAT, CONTACT ME

He is in business.His business is selling to US Hi-Fi fans.He is less than forthcoming about the nature of the items he is selling,he recycles product photos and descriptions,thus his presentation may or may not be in any way representative of the actual item that you will receive.
I love the actual gear that this guy can locate(or access via his connection).I wonder why he simply doesn't get more selective and simply do the right thing?He'd be the equivalent of HiFiDo in the US.Instead he seems intent on switching IDs and preferring the shady less than honest way.
Watch for the style of photo.It's the most dependable indicator of the misrepresentation scam,so far.
