Jungle Child - Dschungelkind (2011)

About German familly who went to live with unknown native tribe in Papua - New Guinea.
Very interesting tale, well acted and with beautiful filming locations.

Caught most of Project Hail Mary last night. I'm not sure how much I missed but I don't think it would make a difference in my opinion which was "meh".
I'm a huge sci-fi fan and had heard a lot of hype about this one but I really wasn't taken in by it.

A Clint Eastwood fan? Take in "Blood Work" (2002)

If you are, you might consider an older version of "Harry", who finds himself (retired now) dealing with a serial killer, who is directly connected to him in this production that was produced, acted in and directed by himself.

With a bit of Clint's "sardonic humour"...it's a lot better than some of the other offerings out there.

The Whisper Man -- New movie on Netflix - filmed entirely in NJ (and looks it). Neither a great nor a bad movie -- good enough and interesting enough for me to enjoy it. De Niro is good in this movie, but not his usual "great". Not perfect, but worth a watch if you like murder mysteries.

The Warriors
(Hill, 1979)

So yeah, about the 50the time I have seen it, but the first time with the comic book (between scenes) deal.

It holds up and I still love The Baseball Furies + actor/stuntman Jerry Hewitt in the role of The Baseball Furies Leader aka The Guy In My Avatar.

First saw it at 18 in the theater in 79, loved it. Did not see it again until I found it maybe a year ago on demand on PLUTO and since then have seen it several times. I want to find the soundtrack.

David Patrick Kelly was my fav. so creepy. ( "Warriors, come out to play-ay!") and the clinking bottles.

.

That put me on edge. I read he came up with that as they were starting to film that scene. He was trying to come up with something and remembered some neighborhood bullies doing that to him when growing up.
