It just goes to show you what poor packing and rough handling can do. I was designing packaging once. I would pack up a sacrificial test item and drop it from chest high onto concrete several times at different angles. No damage.
Climbing a ladder and dropping from 7 ft a few times finally caused damage after some tries.
The same package would sometimes get damaged during actual shipping!
So this shows how well things must be packed and how rough the cartons are handled during shipping.
I once watched in horror on TV how a big bin of boxes is tilted up and the packages were dumped out onto a conveying/sorting system. They tumbled down and over one another. Some had "Fragile" labels :sigh:.

Yeah. I'll be checking with GPA to see if they might be able to salvage the magnet assemblies off a couple of these. Hopefully something can be reused.
I really only need a pair of them, and the plan is for some different bass bins.

"What were they thinking?", keeps going through my head. Makes me feel warm and cuddly that I have way too much packing material and am not afraid to use it.
When shipping it's best to remember that not only does s _ _ t happen, s _ _ t always happens, no matter who the handler is.
I've taken to using double walled boxes, multiple layers inside, and three layers of thick packing tape on the outside on all my shipments. Seems to do the trick. :yes:

Expensive lesson in shipping for the seller. Did he write "Fragile" on the boxes? I've always found that this just excites the gorillas that are charged with moving items from place to place.

Yea some people don't have a clue when heavy things stop suddenly. I received two C15w almost as bad.
