I just texted him, hoping I may hear from him soon. I spoke to him on the phone on 6/2.

We spoke about some items he’s working on for me.

I hope everything is ok with him.

I’m off tomorrow. I think I’m going to go up and just do a wellness check, not like him to not return calls and texts right away.

Well guys, I was able to reach Chris’ wife this evening. After asking her permission to update, I have some bad news.

Chris was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer, and returned home a couple days ago for home hospice care.

She asked if I could assist in getting any items that Chris was working on back to their owners. Of course I offered to help in any way I can.

The gear is the least of my concerns, and I emphasized that to her, but when the time is right for her and his family to go through things...I’ll be available to help.

If anyone from here had something with him, could you send me a private message with your information and the items in his possession?

For now, I’m praying for Chris and his family, and beginning to mourn the loss of someone who in a short amount of time became someone I considered a friend. He always had a good story or three to share...

This is terrible news. I spoke to him a week ago, ever so briefly while he was still in the hospital. He did not sound good then.
My prayers go out to he and his family. I am hoping for the best.
