Whitney Houston, RIP

R.I.P Whitney.

May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind always be at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
and rains fall soft upon your fields.
And until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of His hand.

R.I.P. Whitney

Whitney Houston gone at age 48. Way too young So sad. R.I.P.

REGARDS JIM

Yea after watching a movie on Netflix I hit the news and there it was.

Fu,,,ck, Damn it anyways. If it was drug induced ..... why? I just don't understand anymore. You are who you hang around with. I don't know, I'm Up in the air with this until I get more info on the details. And they better not be vauge.

so sad....

Hearing that, I just had to find a link to her '91 National Anthem performance, the best ever. It brings tears to my eyes every time I hear it.

Thank you Whitney, may you rest in peace.

She blew it, traded all her talent for drugs and a crappy relationship with a POS. Largely to get a different reputation in the public eye.

In her day she was a beautiful as she was talented.

I lost my best buddy in a plane crash of which he was the captain. He was 34. We used to fly together.

At his funeral, they played his favorite song, "I will always love you".

Every time I'm home and have a thought for him, I put the CD on.

Guess it will have an even deeper meaning from now on.

Enjoy life!

RIP Whitney.

Sad news indeed. I always enjoyed listening to her amazingly powerful yet sweet and pure voice.

Rest In Peace Whitney.

Total shock for sure....My wife has a lot of her albums. Ohh man could she sing, that voice was a benchmark for anyone else coming up after her. Even those before acknowledged her talent as nothing short of astonishing. I can only suspect the cause will end up being OD.
She had a serious drug addiction, started with Bobby Brown while they were married I believe.

RIP Whitney......tomorrow night Grammy show will be one to watch for sure.

Sad News, what a wasted talent. RIP Whitney

Regards,
Jim

I remember Dolly Parton talking about when they put out her collector plate, they had the words and music to I Will Always Love You over her (Dolly's) head. She got a phone call from an irate Whitney Houston who said something to the effect of "That's MY song, bitch!" to which Dolly replied "Yes darlin' but I wrote it."
RIP, Whitney
