Who's listening to FM Tonight? What tuner?

KBAQ Phoenix:

Oboe Concerto in D, Giuseppe Sammartini, I Musici, Heinz Holliger, oboe

H.H. Scott 310-E

String Quartet #6, Luigi Boccherini, Quartetto di Cremona

Fisher FM-100-B

Both of these tuners are from 1963. Amazing what those engineers accomplished all those years ago, still making great stereo sound. But they don't sound exactly alike :-).

Radio Veronica FM on air with T wire antenna

Right Next Door (Because Of Me) Robert Cray

Tuner is the tuner in my Philips 22rh708 receiver. And maybe not posted in the right thread, but I only got one tuner and that is the one in my only hifi component! this Philips 708. And I am an analog tuner on air radio fan! So I just had to post it. Now located next to my bed in my bedroom

Between 2005 and 2010 I owned three complete 'Silver faced" Philips Laboratory set (One complete set, amp, pre, tuner deck and R2R for just €125,- Euro) In total 3x Tuner, 3x power amp, 3X pre, 2x R2Rl and two matching cassette decks. 3 TT's etc. And 2 pair FB-825 loudspeakers I lost it in a municipality owned storage fire in February 2010, while I was visiting Montreal Canada. Set on fire in Jarmuiden near Amsterdam - arson. True story! Municipality insurer never responded???

Anyways; The 673 is indeed a great tuner. The one in my 708 receiver is top notch also, but the 673 is the better DX-er!
