Because I am in France for duration of the cup, the time difference sorta dictates that I watch matches after they have been played live. So, for me there will be no surprises. Heck, if the cup were July-August I'd still be out of it live as then I will be back in Nairobi ... one hour LATER than France.

Anyway, I will watch select matches after the fact. I watched OZ defeat the pesky Turks and damn that OZ goalkeep is good.

Yes they were on a mission! And had some chances on the counter too. Hard not to laugh at Spain but at the same time can’t imagine how proud the Cabo Verdeans are tonight!!

This tournament will actually not be such a fiasco for Germany like in 2022 and 2018. They most likely could get to the semi finals even without the injured shooting star Lennart Karl.
