Write a Limerick

^^^
Yeah, I don't have a credit card reader on my phone.

If you could, would you change your life?
Your job, different state, a new wife?
Or are you satisfied
with the road you have tried,
where true love and respect were rife?

[CoogarXR]

Betwixt swaying trees that are pine
With his trademark glass of wine
Purveying recordings
Unloading his hoardings
For Bob's vinyl we'll all wait in line

Nadine was fond of beans
The more the better it seems
A fart near the fire
And what did transpire
Nadine came apart at the seams

"Fool isn't cool, more like a tool,
To have a funny name and to rap,
They can't even sing,
Give voice a thing,
Don't want to sound rude but it's crap."

I like selling records outdoors.
It's much better than stuck inside stores.
I have an extra lawn chair
for any visitors there.
We talk music and show off our scores.

Bob's business model was boss
To all he was friendly, not cross
Until Walmart--no joke
Made him go broke
By selling LPs at a loss.

[bobsvinyl]

Walmart can never compete with me.
No overhead except a fir tree.
Pretty sure they would hate
that I negotiate
and even give some stuff out for free.

A limerick is only 5 lines
Three rhymes plus two intertwine
Don't try new tricks
Like adding line six
Get it right or I'll kick your behind!

[Denten]

I have been doing it wrong.

[CoogarXR]

With innocence much like a dove
My scoldings' delivered with love
I beg you, begin!
Find the poet within!
I can help with KY and a glove

[Hyperion]

There was a young man from Savannah,
Who died in a curious manner:
He whittled a hole
In a telephone pole
And electrified his banana.

There once was a man from Nantucket,
Who kept all his cash in a bucket.
But his daughter, named Nan,
Ran away with a man,
And as for the bucket, Nantucket

[DrumminDaddy]

There once was a man named Rod
Who's hair plugs looked more like sod
Rod said in despair
As he tugged on his hair
"This weed must go, by God!"

[harman/kardon]

"Quote a bank note, then we can gloat,
To get our hands on the lolly,
For even an hour,
Just imagine the power,
It's not only a dream, but a folly."

(bogle111)

[DrumminDaddy]

There was a collector named Heather
Who had many birds of a feather
She thought one or twice
That it might be so nice
If only she had her own pecker

He went to the edge of the crater
To see lava in nature's theater.
Onlookers said "Leave!
Or we do believe
You risk being baked like a 'tater!"

[Christian B]

For this a man always stands
A woman will sit in most lands
A dog on three legs
The answer one begs
Is of course - they just shake hands

Buzzards circle around at great heights.
It's at dusk they take off on their flights.
A full day of eating guts,
lungs, lips and decaying butts.
Hope my wife doesn't make that tonight.

[old_tv_nut]

A buzzard's a natural clean-up actor
Of which I would not be a detractor.
But when I think about a bunch
Sitting down to have their lunch
It has a certain "ooh - ick" factor.
