Write a Limerick

I once had a resonant room
That made the sound go ping-pong-boom!
But I covered the walls
With old tennis balls,
And now it's as dead as a tomb.

didn't please her but did seem to rile her

Faux whining and slobbering roiled the crowd

Dry pantsuits weighed the anchor
Blind bleating sheep submissively kowtowed

learned our language that way,

A small rhyme mistake

My AK addiction
Is a stubborn affliction.
I think I've gone out of my head.

One thing that should not be mysterious
Is that limericks never are serious.
The rhyme has a hickup
In this two-line kick up.
To solemnity it's deleterious.

Thunderstorms have become threatening,
Not only all outside wet(ten)ing,
With an immense power,
A huge hailstorm shower,
Capable of destroying almost everything.

(Sorry, I had to use "wettening" instead of "wetting")

is like Dryling, it just don't exist.
But you know it's okay
to create words to play
And we'll have fun with nothing amiss.

Writing limericks is certainly the time
To play with the spelling and rhyme.
And coining a wurd
That's funny and absurd
Is an asset and never a crime.
