Write a Limerick

[old_tv_nut]

When we all start checking in
We might all ask "Where have you been?"
But whether we have just been lurkin'
Or out somewhere jumpin' and twerkin'
All are welcome back agin.

[Poultrygeist]

The path he took was less traveled
Naysayers thought he was unraveled
But his audio quest came to a rest
With drivers ( no box ) just baffles

[Poultrygeist]

There once was a man name Gene
Who invented an unusual machine
It had it's effects on either sex
And was perfectly simple to clean

[old_tv_nut]

If your funny bone is ticklish,
Try a poem that's limericklish.
No one else will say you've sinned
If you throw caution to the wind
And you invent something redicklish.

^^^
Nice one, o-tv-n.

[bobsvinyl]

Saw my 3 month old grandchild today.
His big smile is like a sunshine ray.
He's sure eating like a horse
And we spoil him of course
He sure can brighten up every day.

[old_tv_nut]

OMG, I checked to see
This thread was sinking on page 3.
Where are the fans of this verse form
To keep the thread alive and warm?
How much trouble can it be?

[harman/kardon]

Last week we had Winter - so cold!
This morning he seems to get old.
Spring knocks on the door
We are deep in our core
Pining for blossoms to unfold.

[bobsvinyl]

After this Nor'Easter had done it's thing
I am more than ready for a nice Spring.
I'll see the first robin.
With his head a bobbin'.
I can't wait for my lawnmower to sing.

Good Plan

An audio nut I once knew
had too many speakers in view.
He tried to cut down
here in Barter Town
but traded each good one for two.

[old_tv_nut]

Our only experience of snow
Was on mountains, a few days ago.
On the south face it's gone.
Northern patches live on
But soon 'twill no longer be so.

[bobsvinyl]

There was an AKer named ButtonsandBose
Whose vintage speakers had just gone comatose.
He replaced both the voice coils
And on the surrounds he toils.
He better ask for help from the AK pros.

[valvenator]

Bobsvinil started a thread
'Write us a limerick" he said
So I gave it my best,
But unlike the rest,
I fell on my face, instead.

Womb Capacity

Young Mister Michael J. Farrad
fell in love and quite quickly got married.
His pretty wife Myrtle
proved to be very fertile,
giving birth to 6 Mfds.

Spring can't get here soon enough.
Even some at AK have been gruff.
It's hard to be immune,
when what you say is impugned.
Who knew a cable thread would cause such fisticuffs?

[bobsvinyl]

There are threads that cause quite a bit of contention
Like what are the latest audio inventions?
Which cable is the best?
Does it pass all the tests?
CDs versus vinyl I'll try not to mention.

[likebike23]

I know it was not your intention,
but CDs vs vinyl was mentioned.
The answer is final,
the better is vinyl.
I can't imagine there will be any dissention.

[holyman772]

While auditioning some vinyl with Kevin,
Hearing Black Dog, and Stairway to Heaven,
As he reached for the dial,
I looked up with a smile,
And yelled, “Mate, crank it up to 11”

[DEAFASABAT]

Feeling sad that this thread had so dwindled
That some who enjoyed it felt swindled
Now to it see it reviving
And perhaps even thriving
I am happy to see it rekindled
