My First Acrylic Piece

5x10 piece of black acrylic. Letters sit 5mm proud, side rails done in a metallic gold pla filament. First try doing something like this on acrylic, a few tweaks to make on the next one but overall....

I'm not mad at it!

Ha — the only way I'd sell anything like this on AK is through Bartertown, so a WTB there would genuinely work. bahahaha, newest subscriber perk - acrylic McIntosh signs.

Wink received — I do sell similar things elsewhere, though nothing on acrylic is listed anywhere yet. Mostly I post here mainly to show off and the people in my daily orbit aren't audio nuts. This crowd actually knows what it's looking at. If I'm ever explicitly selling on AK, it'll be a Bartertown listing.

I like that AK isn't primarily a stuff for sale kinda place - that 'switch' kinda broke Audiogon.

That sign looks awesome. Kudos. We have cricut and I have gold and silver vinyl, I wonder if we could cut those letters out? What font was that?

It's not a font, it's a png of the McIntosh wordmark itself that I then made into an SVG so I could then turn it into a 3d printable file. Somewhere in the process vinyl cutters and 3d printers are different so your workflow would be a bit different but I KNOW the same idea works. I can send you the svg if you want, almost certain you'd use that. The concept works with any image that ism't crazy complex.
