Any cat lovers here?

And in other, other, other cat news-

Mr. White, originally given 6 weeks to 6 months to live when diagnosed with lymphoma in January...

...is now in month 6...and not any worse.

He had that one really bad day about 4 months ago of vomiting and diarrhea for pretty much the whole day, but that hasn't happened since.

Fingers crossed, but still aprehensive.

Nice of the AK servers to inform me of new posts despite have the forum on watch notifications...

Plenty of happenings in the rescue... plenty. Another five kittens that were found in the supply air duct under a mobile home that are too young to eat on their own, bottle babies. Mom is nowhere to be found, plus three more orphans from an AWOL mother. The cat room now has four tabbies all divas, the one black & white nose is now a hospice cat as she has a heart murmur that takes her out of the adoptions. Going to make friends with her.

My cats have been busy with rodent control having caught four last night alone, 'ol Fatso can really move that butt when he's inclined... never seen him run so fast. Mattie caught two and Princess also got one. Don't know where all the mice are coming from but all three have been earning their keep, problem now is I'm running out of reward treats for them.

Can hardly wait for winter.

One week on, Tux seems to have weathered his oral surgery and cyst removal without incident, though I notice last night the stitches on his rear are getting pulled out and I am pretty sure its him. No sign of infection, but will call vet this morning to have the incisions looked at, don't quite think they are healed.

Been off pain meds for maybe 5 days and he is certainly back to his talkative self!IMG_20260804_065038.jpgResized_20260728_132840.jpeg

Marconi looks a lot like my cat Smudge. He crossed the Rainbow Bridge Jan 16 this year. Still miss him so.

DEFINITELY very similar. Very sorry to hear of his passing - he was a very handsome fellow. They always leave us far too soon. I'm sure he's in good company on the far side of the bridge, with several of mine and many others to keep him company while he awaits you.
