From there it's an original pressing Dark Side that's had a few plays... adds character and the nice thing about it is not a transistor between the stylus and the speakers, all tubes. Even the preamp transistors were removed in favor of tubes, a set of 6DJ8's have taken their place.Turntable is a Dual 1214 with an Audio Technical AT12S at about a gram of tracking feeding the phono preamp of the AA-100 amp giving me about 25 watts/channel. Cats really dig the sound as it doesn't seem to bother their ears and when they hear the top slide open both are ready to jump in my lap for some quality time together.
Here's the preamp section that replaced the factory transistors, 0A2 regulator and a pair of 6DJ8's running at about 150 volts.
Skeletal remains of a Heathkit AA-100 with the tone section bypassed, all the speakers are stock however I'd like to find a set of field coil woofers that don't need a mortgage to buy. Those Fisher 7591's have been following me around since middle school.

Fat Kitty chilling to Steely Dan Aja album... Home At Last.
Princess chilling down with some Mancini from the 1958 Peter Gunn album. I have a small collection of albums I call tubes on vinyl being they're first pressing releases that were mastered before transistors invaded the mixing consoles, the Peter Gunn album is one of the best examples.
Unfortunately another one over the rainbow bridge this morning making five so far in a week. Not sure what happened but he was the smaller of the litter and never really "got going". Last night he was a little cold so we put him on a heating pad to bring his core temp up but he never really recovered and this morning was down for the count.

We lost three of the last litter we had.
My wife stayed up with the runt until she passed.
Heartbreaking.
The last one...the rescue we work with caught it.
Rib cage area too small for heart.
Required 1000 dollar surgery.
...but they had Facebook donations and got it covered.
I think there is one other survivor that didn't have the condition.

I'm glad you're back; regards to Rowan.
Got a little calico in the 'hood I'm feeding, can't catch her at the moment but she's going to be well fed until then.
