These videos say a lot for people who think one thing or the other sounds better. The mind will do a lot to change the perception of sound.

Great, now I have to rearrange my entire speaker setup, go to a plastic surgeon and have one ear reduced in size and tilted upward and the other tilted down.
It's very interesting to know that our preception of sound and music is so incredibly complex.
What you hear and I hear may not be the same.

Lol that's funny.
Not just what you hear, but what you think you hear. How did you do on the mic listening comparison? I'll admit I failed the first time. I realized the reason why was because when they started, I was caught off-guard and I was jumping from instrument to instrument and I was not listening to the same instruments at the same time on the second recording. But when I went back and just focused on one thing, then they sounded the same. The other test where people tend to fall into two groups where one fills in the tone gap where it cuts out and the other hears it cut. And was related to what hand is dominant. Which is related to which brain hemisphere is dominant. I had also read somewhere that the ears listen for different things. Right ear listens more for speech, and the left ear more for beats.

For the mic trick, I was saying right off the batt that I want the $5k mic but that China crap sounds just as good.
I was listening in bed last night, and when I dozed and dropped the phone on my face. I had to put it down, almost chipped a tooth.
But I finished it right away this morning.
Lots to learn about something we never consider and take for granted.
Now that I'm an expert I've been schooling people I talk to today.
