Hello Groucho,
I am re-taking this thread after a while. Sorry about me being absent.
I have found some mistakes in the schematic that I put on post #49 of this thread. Speciffically, I had an erroneous connection between the collector of Q4 and the coIlector of Q10 (2N5210) via a 33.2K resistor.
The correct schematic should have the collector of Q4 connected via a 33.2K resistor to GND. Similarly, the collector of Q10 is also connected to GND via a 33.2K resistor.
Sorry for this mistake, but it is hard to follow the circuit from the photographs. I will post a corrected version when I have the chance to redraw the schematic more cleanly.

Things are ok over here thank you!. I hope everything is all right for you as well. I still did not draw a new schematic but i sent you a PM with some instructions and marks on an image to measure some voltages to see if the zener voltage is ok and to see if there is current passing through the bias network. I think you misses that message. Please check your inbox and the last message on the thread "let us continue". If you did not receive it please let me know and i send it again.
