Biggest of the monster receivers ...1 piece

Undisputed winner of the reciever wars!Sansui g33000 was over 100 lbs but techinally was a 2 piecer.I believe this would of been 2nd in the reciever wars possibly.
A 2 box receiver? How gauche. Defeats the entire rationale of a receiver as an all in one unit. The OP asked about heaviness. Power ratings, while nice, don't answer the question. Got my flack vest on for this one.

If you're not aware of the construction of the G22000 and G33000, they're made to be bolted together as one unit. The tuner/preamp section can be separated from the amp and connected via umbilical cables so they can be placed on shelves that aren't deep or strong enough to hold the load, or for easier movement.

The Rotel RX-1603 can be separated (As mentioned). A "Separation Kit" was a factory option for those who hadn't the deep shelf space required. The kit had a plate/cover with the necessary harness extensions to conceal the front of the separated amp section. The back amp section of the Rotel is "Plain Jane". Not like the Sansui 33000, where the two units stacked, make a wonderful statement. It's almost designed to be hidden from view - as the Kit's extension harness has plenty of length.
A client of mine had me restore his broken RX-1603 and has the "Kit". He was wondering what he might list it at. Said "I don't really have a use for it" (What! :dunno:). I said it could go for as much as the set.
