Awhile back I was feeding the birds in my driveway. One lovebird was sitting on the GoPro.

Pretty good day today, but a lot of drive time. Went North again. I think the bird in the first 3 images is a Rough Legged hawk. The bird to left in 3rd pic is a Northern Harrier. These two only sort of tolerated each other's company. 4th pic is a Western Meadowlark. If I'm right, this would be the first time I've ever seen a Roughy. What say the experts?

I live about ten minutes from Marshy Point and have photographed that pair every year (and their offspring) since 2021. Sadly, this year they failed to raise their young (usually two) due to a lack of food. From Virginia to New Jersey over 90% of Osprey nests failed to yield offspring in 2025.
