Bought an Onkyo M-510, but...

I prefer the SE-A3 as it doesn't have those fancy flashy LEDs at the front.
Here's mine:

Otherwise, one'd also have to mention the SE-A1, SE-A5(MK2), SE-A70, SE-A100, SE-A3000/5000/7000 and SE-R1.
Aaaand, of course, the SE-10000.

Edit: sorry for thread-hijacking; if required I'll take down the picture.
I've always liked the design of this series of amps, but I love my M-7050, and the P-L10 is on my list down the road, though the 510 is gorgeous as well.

The P-L10 is one of the sleekest ever. I almost wish they'd used Zebrano wood, finished with a gray analine stain and the 21 coats of clear on top. I think this would have upped the modern look the front establishes.
It's been a real score year for a lot of folks here. Tidy insides on the 510.

Very nice layout.

Great stuff Ds. I notice that your signature has some other new components.

Some of the "new" items are things I've left at a friends house and forgot about (lol).
And I've been very low pressure while my 510 has had that crate hand made for it. I'd really rather it arrive with absolutely no defects.

Only time I saw a 510 was at a tech shop, and there were a pair of them. Both needing parts that are NLA. I didn't ask and he's now closed his doors. Any ideas what those parts might have been?

Well no, most of what's in there is replaceable with original or drop in replacement # parts. Maybe it was the transformer(s)? But I've seen those for sale too. Was this a while ago?

Weird, I did see a pair being parted out, probably the same 2 amps. Seriously cannot imagine what would be so impossible to find. I'm having Stax mono amps reworked and my tech has been able to find everything. Mind you, it's not on demand fast, getting them but they are out there. Really goes to show, choosing the right repair person is a hugely important decision. May make the difference between door stops and sweet music.

Looks like the seller is accommodating in regards to spending the time and I assume, a little of your money
in its safe arrival. My the shipping gods be with you.

He isn't charging a penny for the crate! A real ace, and I'm hiring Yellow freight to put it on a semi trailer and bring it here. Super safe transport

The attention to detail on this packing job! I'd be stuck for like $750 for it here in the states.

Assuming of course that the suspension of the vehicle carrying it can cope with the load.
