Bought an Onkyo M-510, but...

I wish, all my goodies have to come up 2 flights. I'm pretty much used to it by now.

I have help, and I hired 2 guys to bring the scepters up. Slippery and heavy, I didn't want to risk damaging them. The amp can stay in the crate, it has 2 strong rope handles on each side.

Waiting to hear, it's ready to go. Just need to know when yellow takes it

It's gonna be Monday, but I saved $60 so that's just fine. They'll pick it up Friday.

Trouble in paradise, I can't seem to find a reasonable cost way to get this amp out of Canada. May have to road trip it, which I don't want to do.
Yellow freight won't do residential, very frustrating.

I am sure that you can find an LTL that would do it. They will charge extra for residential delivery, that's for certain, because of the tail gate delivery happens with a smaller truck.
Try freightquote.com

Yeah I may go that route. Also seeing if I can get the guy to meet right over the border from Buffalo. I'd rent a car and head there, it's about 40% less distance

I feel for you, and for anyone shipping between the US & Canada.

Look at the bright side, the weekend is coming up, fall colors are out. Make it a road trip. The shipping box is now an impediment since its larger size will now dictate the car you could rent. But....you should still go an make sure you bring it home safely. Just because it was packed so nicely, there was no guarantee that it would not get damaged.
I had a set of speaker come boxed and on a pallet, but the shipping gorilla still found a way to get the forklift forks through the box an scrape the bottom of one of the speakers....you never know. Take the road trip.

Road Trip!
Got a buddy that can ride with you? That's a good 9-10 hour trip from NYC.

Freightquote came in really right, this after I called them and negotiated. They're hired and it'll be here Wednesday next week

Delays and whatnot has them scheduled for a Friday pickup. I'll be really glad when this protracted deal is done with.
