Based on Google image search, I believe you are correct. Are they the German version of the ADS L700?

Yes sir. The only reason I would have been close on my guess, is that I have been researching parts for the ADS L700.

I’m surprised at the lackluster reception these receive here on AK. I saw a number of posts that recommend parting them out. I thought most if not all ADS/Braun speakers were well regarded.

I know right. But you are observant. The 700 series in both the Braun and ADS lines weren't all that popular. I cant tell you what it was about them, but it appeared to me that many of the parts were reissued to different series. The tweeters were common for many of the speakers.
