Use any of the (non-phono) analog inputs of your receiver: tuner, aux, tape, and the analog outputs of your CD player. Usually a stereo RCA cable will do:

what model cd player is it ? i looked up kdc and only found car players
I noticed that, too. If it is an auto unit, good luck with that. It ain't worth the effort, assuming it can be done at all.

I have an ex brother-in-law and an uncle with that name.

Your best option is to connect the left and right analog out from the CD player to the aux input on the receiver.

Oops, just noticed that's a car unit. All bets are off.

My advice is to buy a home type CD player.
