Cookin' up some chili dogs tonight on my old foreman grill! Who else loves chili dogs? Whats your fav way to dress them up?

For me it's just mustard & chili.....REAL chili not the standard "Hot dog sauce"

Ohhhh.. wish I had some 'dogs to cook right now.

Love 'em with chili and cheese, and a bit of Guacamole as well. Even sour cream.

If my stomach lets me, some diced jalapeños.

Cripes. too late to make it to the grocery.

Surely you have a late-nite grocery store open?:D Here....to get you motivated.

Good dogs, steamed buns, homemade chili, light mustard, diced Vidalia onions, enough pepper sauce to break a sweat on the brow, and cold beer.

Add plenty of napkins.

Comfort food.

Curses to you, Russ.

All I can think of is Hot Dogs now.

The world-famous Pink's of Hollywood has an incredible menu- I've eaten many of their creations- get a load of these-

The Bacon Chili cheese Dog,topped with bacon, tomatoes & cheese...

The Guadalajara Dog- relish, onions, tomatoes, and sour cream...

The Three Dog Night, which is 3 hot dogs wrapped in a giant tortilla, 3 slices of cheese, bacon, chili & onions...

The The Patt Morrison Baja Dog, consisting of guacamole, chopped tomatoes and chopped onions...

The Ozzy Spicy Dog, which is a spicy Polish hot dog, nacho cheese, American cheese, grilled onions, guacamole & chopped tomatoes...

The Today Show Dog, which is 2 hot dogs in one bun, mustard, onions, chili, cheese & guacamole...

The Bacon Burrito Dog, a flour tortilla wrapped around 2 hot dogs, cheese, bacon, chili & onions...

The Poli Bacon Dog, a flour tortilla wrapped around either a mild or spicy Polish hotdog, Chili, Onions...

The Foot Long Jalapeno Dog- mustard, chili, jalapenos and onions...

The Pastrami Burrito Dog, a flour tortilla wrapped around 2 hot dogs, grilled Pastrami, Swiss cheese, chili and onions.

Here's another favorite of mine-

The Okie-dog, a small shack in LA that's famous for a grand creation- a tortilla folded to have two pockets, one side filled with chili and cheese and a hot dog,the other side filled with pastrami and a hot dog.

It's fan-freakin'-tastic.

It was created as a weird fusion between Mexican and Jewish dishes, as the area it's located initially had a predominantly Mexican and Jewish population.

It was also a legendary hangout for cult movie stars, authors and punk rockers, like Edith Massey (John Water's "Egg Lady"), Charles Bukowski (Factotum, Ham on Rye), and Darby Crash (of the Germs)...

Oh- and as much as I love my west coast hot dogs, there's nothing like having a Nathan's Own with chili, out front of the stand, along the Coney Island boardwalk in New York, watching hipster Williamsburg and Park Slope girls strolling by...

HELL YEAH!!!

I'll drink to that. :thmbsp:

Chili, sharp cheddar, and Chipotle Tabasco. Mebbe some diced serranos if I'm in the mood. Pure comfort food.

I eat mine deep fried and slathered with homemade chili. Ya gotta get natural casing hot dogs (I like Shofar) and fry them until the skin splits.
