Commercials You Hate

So that's how they choose names for those drugs.

Makes complete sense!
i always thought it was the people who created the names for the poke mon characters that made the names for the new drugs ! none of them can spell a damn thing! And im so tired of the drug of the day! hasnt been an effective pill made since penicillin yet they keep shoving crap down our throats to keep big pharma pumping ! gotta love the back door genocide!

When they have to say it hasn't been tested on and isn't for people assigned female at birth?
Agree with the first part but in a perfect world the 2nd should not matter. But hey I am a middle aged man that works with plenty of middle aged men that have plenty of "isms" so I hear it all the time... it is kind of sad really.

Who cares if a boy wants to be named Sue and what does it matter to other people, SMDH, and Johnny did not care. ;)

In a perfect world, one would never require this:
Try some head-on:

Not at all. One of the best tools for fighting discrimination is discussion. As I mentioned I work with a lot of fellow middle aged white dudes (50-75) and being the "boss" I hold equal opportunity/discrimination training on the spot when they start spewing BS like this. One observation I find funny from dealing with these guys (and most others of the same mind set) is they are the first to preach about individual freedoms/rights yet have no problem trying to deny them to entire groups of people... the hypocrisy amazes me sometimes.

I had forgotten about that Head On commercial, made for a good chuckle this morning :)

anyone else get those "its a crime to pay more than a dime" car dealership radio commercials with the woman with the obnoxious fake Brooklyn accent? I know of at least 2 different dealerships that use them, same commercial, just with a different dealership and brand name. One is a Mitsubishi dealer in PA the other is a Kia (?) dealer in Maryland.

Discrimination? That fact that you just classified middle aged "white" dudes as discriminatory is true discrimination.

I stand by my initial response to your "hornets nest poke". That commercial sucks, is freaky and should not be aired during children friendly tv. Also, as I stated: I really don't care which way anyone "flys"; straight, gay, left, right. Keep your laundry (clean or dirty) in your own closet and do not air it in public. Period. End of discussion.

Now, back to our regular programming:
Annoying as hell:

Must be a Mitsubishi stock commercial. The local Norfolk, Va dealer runs them.

Middle aged white dudes would like to think that is true. But if the shoe fits they should change their name to Cinderella :)

I would have expected more negative response to the seemingly prime-time inappropriate Blue Pill and Boner Bob Enzyte commercials getting awkward questions from the kiddies, but apparently crickets and tumbleweeds as they kept running.

Don't like those either. Seems YouTube is really pushing that crap now too.

i cringe anytime i watch live sports and my son is around. ED this, sex that, and she'll like it too! (why will SHE like it, Dad? what is ED?)

YouTube is a video forum with everything from educational tutorials to toxic disinformation. They do their best to stay current with objectionable content that violates terms of use, but it's a giant wack-a-mole with too few overworked monitors.
It must be based on age group which is pulled from your Google profile at login of YouTube. At 58 y/o they have me targeted as a prime candidate for the "magic blue pill" oh, there's the alternate "yellow pill" too.

Yes, as you stated, there is a range of really good info to very toxic on that platform.
