and last but not least RC-104 remote

Oh yeah! I love Luxman. I have every piece in that stack (exchange the KX-100 for a 101) in my collection as well.

I'm not certain about the actual placement being optimal (maybe that room doesn't allow many varieties) but I can just bet the sound is very good.

The placement sucks, but that’s the only corner my wife will give me for the fourth full stereo setup.

One of the setups has a Quad 33/303 and McIntosh/SAE hooked up to a Niles switch so both are playable on one set of speakers.

Very nice system, indeed! I have the RX-103, KX-102, PD-101 and the remote RC, which I have tried to open for cleaning. Unscrewed the four screws but the unit won’t come apart. Have you managed to open the remote?
