C46 JBL-Ranger MINIGONs. GET THEM! They're worth upwards of $2,000, I'm guessing; there's a BIN pair on the Bay right now for $3,200. And "yours" look minty. From the 1962 catalog:

I would have grabbed those and ask questions later- please let us know if they were there when you went back.

*cough* They're absolute junk... Please tell me where they are so I can go get them and make the world a safer place. I'll even take a long drive for those as a form of community service.

I think and hope that the OP has just laid down two smoky parallel patches of rubber a hundred yards long on his way back to the thrift store. Godspeed, my man. Godspeed.

And don't think you can try to hide out in the "Western NC Mountains" either, cuz we have ways of finding burnt rubber up in there. :D

That's what smart phones are for. You ask questions of AK members as you're leaning on the speakers. Even if it takes 1/2 hour or so, it's worth it. I hope all that burned rubber wasn't wasted.

It'll be a miracle.
You've obviously never visited the Western NC mountains! ;)

Either he got them home, plugged them in and forgot about us or...
:lurk::lurk::lurk:
...got my fingers crossed, good luck. I'm gonna need a cold one to wash down all that popcorn!

Sometimes you just gotta look at the price, the quality of the work and bite. If I see a single part that I know I can recoup my investment on, I usually snag it.

Good Luck!!
