Lenco L85 - opinion needed

Hi,
What do You think about Lenco L85 turntable? It's worth to renovate? What modifications are recommended? The original tonearm is sufficient or will be replaced?

Google up Lenco Heaven and other Lenco sites, you won't believe how much Lenco info and overall enthusiasm there is out there astounding build quality by modern standards.

The stock arm should be replaced, if you put a Lenco on a heavy layered CLD (controlled layered Damped) Plinth which is alternating layers of Baltic Birch Ply and MDF wood glued together, the idea being the powerful motor and platter drive impart rumble and noise the heavy CLD plinth absorbs and diffuses all that, put a nice vintage or current tonearm on it and you'll have an amazingly powerful musical experience, the primary benefit of Idler drives is the total absence of stylus drag
which is inherent with belt drive tables, the human ear is extraordinarily sensitive to pitch, stylus drag causes the pitch to waver and change, higher end belt drives attempt to minimize stylus drag using the inertia of massive platters.

Anyone that's intrepid and or reasonably handy can have a serious high end $$$$
turntable for a fraction of the cost of any of the current starter tables.

I confused you L 85 with an L 88 sorry, I really don't know anything about belt drive Lenco's
