Oh, got another one delivered today. This gentleman will shed some light on my turn table in the evenings.
It's supposed to run a 25W spot light but that is an overkill for the small area it lights up. Have an oven light with just 15W in it and even that seems a little much but at first it will do.

Here's my latest lamp project - glass, art deco, bought for $3 at a sale. It was loose and had glass grinding on glass, but no chips, so I took it apart, inserted compressible gaskets, and rewired with 18-gauge plenum wire.

Oh man, I can dig this thread. When I stopped collecting audio gear, I started collecting lamps. I'll have to get some pics tomorrow.
