Let's See Your Miscellaneous Car Photos

Actually parts for the Audi aren't too bad. Compared to a Ford or Chevy, sure they cost more. My S5 is easier to change plugs on than any current V6 American passenger car. My wife's M4 on the other hand falls into the pain in the ass and wallet category for sure. You started a miscellaneous picture thread so I'll keep my opinions to myself and not derail things. Peace man!

Detours and tangents are always welcome. Some people hide behind the rules but not me.

happy to see it out and about. how is it running?
Pretty good. I have a significant leak at the outputs on the transfercase (I have the stuff to fix this just need the time) The OD pops out of Direct under load (I need to add about .020" of shims to it will do that when I fix the leaks) I still need to install my O2 sensor and finish tuning the carb.

But all that said it will get up and go 65mph no problem. I have made a couple 1 hour+ long freeway runs. Not getting great MPG but then at speed spinning the engine pretty fast even with the 30% OD. 5.38 rear end gears are not free LOL.

too funny, so you complain about 'German cars' yet you've owned three BMW's !! You must have been a lousy ball player, you strike out often !! ;)

Don't get me wrong. BMW's are great drives and definitely massages the ego. Some of them even look nice, lol. I got tired of the constant four figure repair bills.

I had a friend that was into Jaguars.

My running joke after observing him talk cars with other Jag owners was that they actually enjoyed telling each other how much they had to spend on repairs.

All right, let’s get this thread back on track:

understood, the look of the new grills is ridiculous IMO. My '17 X5 M-Sport will probably be my last.

Saw this at the local indy BMW shop the other day. Not sure of the year, but the first one came out in 1949 and 1960 was the first year of the one piece windshield. I believe they were made until 1969. Very rare in the U.S. Volvo P210 Duett. Sorry for the crappy photo from my crappy phone.
