local weed growing discussions

I grew two of these this year and the one in this planter had a higher yield than the one in the bed.
The yield doesn't mean dookie considering we still have 15 ounces from last year's same strain.
This little guy might actually weigh out at two pounds once it hits the cure bucket.

1 month old hydro. strain is "northern lights", only seeds i could find locally . cut my hydro system down to 1 plant.
this so simple, change the water once. 1 light as opposed to 6.
the light is 24 hrs.
set and forget. be done sometime in Dec.
lives in a cage 'cause one of our cats will eat anything green.

looks like autoflower gets "the stretch" also

two weeks later again. flowers but no trichomes
autoflower goes fast!!. the chiller is the best thing i have ever bought for hydro.
every plant just thrives auto or regular.
i switched to auto because of plant height issues and am very close to that again anyway.
but growth cycle fit perfectly this will be done and curing in time to start my regular plants for spring

added 2 side lights, for the lower buds. got all this stuff sitting here might as well use some.
this plant has had no training.was supposed to be set and forget, but its using more than 5gal a week so there is some maint.
trichomes have started to show

tric's are crystal clear still. lots more red hairs. another week maybe two

i stll have lots left from the last grow.with what i get from this, i dont expect to need more for at least a couple yrs.

I've graduated from worrying how well the plants will grow to worrying about how good the strain is going to be.

I heard that Marijuana will reclassified from a schedule l narcotic to a schedule Ill today. It doesn’t make it fully legal yet, but a step in the right direction if you ask me. What do you think?

Reclassification is long overdue. There is no logical explanation to consider cannabis in the same league as heroin. I am biased as I currently hold some cannabis stock in my E trade account that has been floundering lately.

If you all don't mind, I think it'd be for the best to keep all of the marijuana discussions to this one thread, so I have moved the reclassification discussion here. My reasoning is that reducing the criminality of pot does make it safer to grow you own, and this I do believe is a good, , , no, it's actually a great! thing for all of those who enjoy it.

I unfortunately cannot partake in it myself due to medical reason(s), but I absolutely support all of your right to enjoy it as you see fit

On the other hand a $50 avg 1/8th lasts me a little over a month. They gave me 6 seeds when I bought the food so I may or may not give it another go.

Hell, I get gummies for less than a bag of Halloween candy. Seriously, the last time I bought gummies, 20 mg gummies were going for $2.00 for 10.

My wife went to Michigan recently and stopped at a dispensary on the way home. Prices were less than half of Illinois prices.

The difference will be less in a few weeks when Michigan adds a new 24% tax.
