Music to accompany a lunar eclipse

Will any of you be staying up or waking up to watch tonight's lunar eclipse in North America?

Will you create a lunar eclipse playlist?

I would start with:

Moon Shadow - Cat Stevens
Moondance - Van Morrison

For around here, try 'Cloudy' by Simon and Garfunkel.

Around these parts, it seems like no matter when there's a celestial even, it can guaranteed to be cloudy. Day before, clear as a bell. Day of, nothing but clouds. Oh yeah, don't forget the three inches of snow they are forecasting! :D

Same here. Clear all day. Now it's getting ready to rain. Flood watches because of all the melting snow.

We used to see the Aurora pretty often here. Now every time we have a big solar flare it's pretty much a guarantee that the night will be cloudy.

Still, I'll add:

Moonage Daydream - David Bowie

Overcast and snowing here. I guess the two go hand in hand.

Starting tomorrow, I can add the lunar eclipse to my list of hoaxes that never happened. Man on the moon indeed ... <G>

I was thinking "riders on the storm", since thats probably all I'm going to see. I was going to stay up for it, but I think I'm going to can that idea now.

It has cleared up a little. I set my alarm for 2:50 just in case. That puts it at about 10 minutes before totality here.

Mr. Moonlight - The Bealtes

An since I live here...

Moonlight on Vermont - Captain Beefheart and His Magic Band
