It's that Radio Shack electrostatic speaker but the actual model number escapes me. I passed on 3 pairs of those at the local Goodwill last summer that were $15 for all 3 pairs on half price night. I think I've read that the woofers are the weakest link in those.
Electrostat 2's or 2a's I'm pretty sure. Here was my original thread about them.

What's the difference between 2 and 2a? Teak or Mahogany?

Kinda cool to A/B test your Solo 1's; the same cabs for conventional vs. E-stats. Scientific to control for as many variables as possible.
avguytx it will be tough to better your record. Maybe I could have just posted a pic of the wooden rounded out HF control knob inset!

Woops, I kind of led you on to believe I had these speakers AND solo-1's
My mistake, I only have Solo-1's which is was noting the similarities to these electrostatic Ratshacks.
Unfortunately the 'fullrange' 8" speaker was labeled as 'woofer' on the magnet which explains why it sounds so funny. Also has no cross over.

With the 5000 Hz crossover pt it's like a pleated fullrange 6"--with the 4 e-stats just there for a little added sizzle.
One of mine clearly was replaced; one is ceramic the other alnico. So they won't image, ah well.
Detached the woofers and tried to 'cheapo bi-amp' them with my 2-way Maggie IIC's.
Not satisfied. Maybe only push-pull E-stats elements can keep distortion low enough at more than whisper SPL's. They didn't turn my IIC's into 1.6's
