Strange that you can mirror them by turning one upside down!

It's amazing how the dust cap on the mid-range (or low tweeter, whatever that is) has survived intact all these years...I'd say you have some LUCKY Brand speakers there.

So far they remain unidentified...

Yes the heavy fabric is similar to my Bozak Symphony's 'Modern' heavy striped fabric (same design era).

It is tough and probably helped preserve the domes.

All drivers are inset in the front baffle. I don't see an obvious brand ID on the drivers.

Hints?

1. This model has been mentioned on AK.

2. Not a homebuilt, not a kit.

3. Oiled walnut veneer. Thick cabs, 60 lbs ea. :thmbsp:

4. 30-20kHz

5. xover nodes: 500, 3000 Hz

6. drivers are 2 x 10" woofers, 2" & 0.75" soft domes in goofy orange/yellow colors :scratch2:

7. 27.5 x 15.75 x 12.5"

8. 30-100 Watts RMS

Fairly high 30 W minimum; for this period that indicates they were higher up the product line.

The driver layout is very similar to a pair of Gales that Terry (TWAntiques) brought to me for repair a few years ago. But, if they're Gales, they must be older models than Terry's... his looked a bit more "80s", where those look "70s"...

One other thought- maybe United Audio/Phase Tech. Those domes look a lot like Bill Hecht's patent design- the original soft-dome design...

Sure looks like it. The three screws in the back of the magnet look very much like CTS design from the early-to-mid '70s.

And the domes themselves appear to have "137" as the start of the 7-digit number... that's CTS's EIA code.

So far not identified...

Those drivers in there probably have been, but not the outside brand name on the logo.

Hint: Unlike my First Mystery Speaker, I had heard of this brand before. But not this specific model.

Acoustic suspension, lots of pink fiberglass in there, so I haven't got pictures of the xovers yet; need a full HazMat suit.

Got from an estate sale. No doubt single owner. From a furniture store maybe? The stamped basket wouldn't have appealed to college gearheads...
