Need Help with identifying console stereo

I believe it is a Magnavox but I'm not sure. The only label anywhere in the cabinet are Model number 1SB115 F SN 0694690 MAH and RETMA 232.

Looking for any documentation.

Hi, I don't have any documention but is is a Magnavox. It's identical to the one I had back in the 80's.

This one has the little 'ol 6BQ5 single ended stereo amplifier. It's also the amp that you can squeeze a lot more out of according to a DaveG thread around here somewhere.

You will notice that it doesn't have a speaker balance control but if you remove the bass control knob, you will find that the shaft is hollow for a small screwdriver. This is the speaker balance control for this model. It is not on the amp nor does the amp have a hum balance pot. This is the 8601 amp off the top of my head.

I did notice that it didn't have a balance control and thought that odd. Thanks for the information.

I'm with Century. I recently found one almost like it and it has the little 8601 amp in it. If you decide to gut the amp, follow Dave's mods. Not much money for a noticeable improvement.
