Funny how those who profess to not like Roger Waters don't hesitate to quote his lyrics.

Never said I don't like Waters talent and if you read the thread I even state that he is an outstanding songwriter! He's just an egotistical jackass, that doesn't mean I don't like the music that he helped create while with Floyd. Read threads before you post your fabricated BS.

Well, this is my thread, and I've read everything also. I haven't read anyone negating Waters talent as a songwriter.

Did you create this thread just so you could go on personal rant regarding someone else's character?
Started this thread to see who people prefer more Gilmour or Waters. If I've offended you because I like Gilmour over Waters, then don't know what else to say, except sorry. There is always an option to ignore any given post. There are many post in AK that I won't step foot in.
I can delete the entire post/thread. But, that is a waste since we already see the poll. It's what I expected Gilmour is above Waters
Just the bickering post so others don't decide to jump in, subs have a delete for their comments, just a tip.

I took no offense at anyone stating their preferences for a member of a band, any individual's vocal prowess or musicianship. I do take offense at people taking swipes at a person's character when it has no bearing on the intent of the thread.

I'm sorry we got off track. I'm a huge Pink Floyd fan, have been for a long time. I really don't break it down into bits and pieces, I take the whole enchilada, past,present and future(?). I like both Roger's work as well as David's work, on their own merits, regardless of personality defects or whatever, that crap means nothing to me. I'll leave it at that.
