New guy here from Virginia, USA. Here's my current setup in my "hang out spot" aka heated garage. Have many more inside waiting for shelves to finish being assembled. I may have issues.

Nakamichi LX-5. I picked this up at a thrift store several years back and all I did was replace belts. It works great and I'm impressed at how good it sounds.

Here are my 2 Nakamichi LX-5 cassette decks. Both restored & fully functional. New belts, replaced bulbs, lubed, all electronics checked, failing electronics replaced & everything cleaned up. Best of all they sound fantastic. These are big bulky, heavy looking cassette decks but they're both built like tanks. It's cool is I have 2 Nakamichi LX-3's fully restored with new belts as well. One of my Nakamichi MR-2's could not be repaired. That sucked but I still have two fully restored working Nakamichi MR-2's. Ths old gray Werewolf did good.

Hi Sinder, apologies, I have been away for a while.. Yes, its a real time counter in all 3 speeds, I built it ages ago using discrete CMOS logic chips and a rotary encoder for up/down count.. Unfortunately it does not keep counter memory on power off. I then redesigned it using a pair of Maxim MX7217C's just for kicks, but of course I imagine that redesigning it now with updated microprocessors and some code would be easier (I just have no idea how to...)

Just picked this up at an estate sale. Not sure what to do with it since I'm not into tube equipment. It just looks so good, I'm tempted to try to get it going, who knows, it may just work fine?

I entirely forgot about my Pioneer H-R100 8 track player & recorder because I haven't used it in awhile, it's needing a head adjustment and it's too much of a pain to remove from where I have my system put into a wood cabinet. But it worked great awhile back ago until several moves later.
