This 1180DC is a nice sounding amp. I usually pipe this through a Macintosh 225, which is my favorite setup. But the Mac is temporarily off and I have been using the 1180 by itself and I really like the sound a lot. Detailed and accurate. Every amp should have a loudness contour dial like this instead of a push button.

Ugly,I know,it's that walnut color people don't like.
I've been thinking about just painting them black to blend in more

Sweet Child of Mine 2275 with black face. This is the absolute cleanest vintage piece I've ever owned. I took it in to have it gone over. It didn't need anything and he commented that even the bulb housings aren't heated. Warped or stained from burning which is rare.

Good ole factory 0910! It kills me that Marantz (Superscope) and Pioneer (Centrex) didn't have branded 8-track to properly add to my stacks. Taiwan Factory 0910 was part of Standard Radio which was absorbed by Superscope in 1974. They produced a lot of the "middle of the road" (Joeseph S. Tushinsky) stuff.
