Maybe I was riding in one of 'em, lol. Kidding, it was all land-based activities for me, though I did board and ride a corvettes around Black Sea for some adventure.

I went to shore duty in 1990, tracking subs when I left. Went to 16 months of school before the next ship, got to the ship in 1995, no more subs to chase so I started doing boardings pretty much until I left my last ship in 2004. We played at ASW but it never was like the Cold War days
