If you go to the labels site sometimes they do have the price listed.

I am well aware of this. My point is Good Vibrations is 3:30 and Heroes and Villains is 3:40. This is 7:10 of music on a format that holds about 10 minutes in a 12 inch format. Wouldn't a 45 of the same size be the same in terms of quality? I could just be mad because those are two of my favorite songs of all time. I don't have them on vinyl. And now that I have chance to get them on vinyl I cannot due to the speed.I beg to differ on the 78 rpm. Records cut at higher rpm's can achieve higher fidelity. Sort of like the difference between 7.5 ips on reel to reel and 3.75 ips on reel to reel.
Also the 10 inches gives the record cutter more room for the grooves.
If you buy some of the 12 inch 45 rpm singles, you will get a good idea of the sound you can get. That's why the club dj's use 12 inch 45 rpm singles.
I suggest you try an experiment. See if you can find a 12 inch 45 rpm single of a song you like. Then compare that to the album version of the song.
You will hear what I'm talking about.!

Go to strictlydiscs.com and they have pricing. Due to the last black Friday record store day where stores did preorders and there was nothing on the shelves the day of. They were required to sign a contract that they would only sell them day of and they also had a problem with stores marking them up. They can only sell for the record store day prices. So no preorders are supposed to be allowed if they do and get caught they lose the promotion from their store.

I'd just assume they were easier to handle in the dark. A club is the last place I think of when I think of fidelity.
