I apologize if this has been mentioned or posted before, but here's my tip for preventing a record skipping caused by floor vibration.

I've used those for years. Mine are used for propping up my Audioengine A2 desktop speakers to point the tweeters up ...near field listening. 3 per each speaker foot ... 12 all together.

Also use them for my mains bookshelf speakers ... keep them off the metal posts. I"ll probably buy some type of isolation component (like below) eventually when I get around to it.

The only thing I could add is to check the shape of these pads now & again. They tend to loose their shape with the passing of time ... just replace w/ new ones.

Some years ago ... I had a problem with floor vibrations on TT (old house) ... solved with vibrapods.

There are other products like that .... Bright Star - IsoNodes ... used on my old CD player.

SOTA Sapphire or up in the line, you eliminate any skips even if you jump up and down and pound your fist on the plinth.
