R.I.P. Dick. :sigh: He was mostly big before most of us were born, but we definitely knew "of" him, when New Year's Eve rolled around. I remember seeing old clips of American Bandstand, but don't remember really watching it. :scratch2:

Always enjoyed watching Bandstand as a kid. I have no way of knowing, but he sure seemed like a genuine, good soul. Hard worker no doubt. RIP

Hard to believe in a way, as he did seem like a kind of timeless figure in music. Rest in peace.

RIP what a sad day. I always loved his stuff being a kid in the 80s the bloopers shows were a favorite, loved bandstand and my late mother watched the pyramid.
