Rubicon, I am totally hooked!

Andy took what he said seriously once she pulled the gun out of his bag. Still wondering when it comes into play. Will is building capabilities and contacts nobody else knows about.

This one was an excellent episode and I think there will be clear story resolution by episode 13. Now the real question is whether or not Rubicon is picked up for another season? IIRC, that was the way Mad Men happened. It was sort of a 13 season pilot to get everyone on-board. AMC has its act together and should be commended for shows like these.

:thmbsp:

just watched the pilot of nbcs 'the event'. i liked it a lot. i hate to have to wait a week to see the next ep.

with 'rubicon' i now have 2 shows to keep track of and enjoy.

I've seen a few episodes so far and commanded my Tivo to catch them all.

It's like almost nothing happens actionwise, and yet I can't look away!

It's brilliant.

hey! whered'ja all go?

anyhoo,

a few episodes back, spangler told (will (?)) he has a son in college.

last night, the college age looking 'kateb' (forgot his anglo name) was playing kansas 'wayward son' on his boat stereo as he left its dock enroute to the scene of the dirty deed.

so i'm now sort of wondering, is 'kateb' spanglers 'wayward' son?

wouldn't that be something...

Notice Spangler's little smile as he was talking to the assistant that came into his office at the end of the episode? He's a man with no concept of right and wrong, only greed.

at the end of last nights episode when Will cried at the end?
i think he was remembering the last time he was 'just a little too late'.

ie being late picking his wife and child up at the world trade center on 9/11. had he not been late, they might not have perished in that holocaust.

i'm really starting to not like that man...
