Just out of the oven, my lovely wife's weekly rye bread for my daily breakfast. Every morning, spread with either Greek peach or Croatian fig jam from Costco, and a lungo or three from beans freshly ground in the Gaggia. Life is good.

Teriyaki chicken, peanut sauce and glass noodles, per the missus’ request. Scratch teriyaki marinade from a recipe found on the interwebs (found out late we’re out) - turned out pretty well.

Cabbage soup. Is so good that we don't miss not having any meat (though we occasionally add some kielbasa or similar). Only problem is even a small cabbage makes a pretty large pot of soup. Not really a problem as we vary the bread, toast or crackers we eat with it. And, is very good for you.
