SX-3500 parts interchangeability Questions

I have a SX-3500; the little plastic pieces keep breaking, it plays, but looks - well, see attached pics.
My question is, Are the parts of the SX-3X00's interchangeable (components)??

we get the service manual for the recipient, and locate the parts number(s) in question
then
we get the service manuals for the potential parts donors, and see if they use the same part number.

Thank you for such a prompt reply! Can you just search the internet for the service manual? For example SX3500 3700 etc.
Also, the knobs seem interchangeable if they fit from SX3500 to 580 they look different but they look like they fit.. thanks so much.
