Ms. Swift has developed singing flat into a fine art. Makes my teeth hurt. Eyes OK, though.

She looks pretty average to me. But I live in an area where there are several colleges, so maybe my sense of average is different to others.
I found her inflection a little strange with the tunes she chose on SNL, but she didn't hit one flat note.
Average? Good God man! You must be surrounded by Victoria's Secret's models...poor fellow.

That first song she did on SNL is her big hit getting a lot of radio play. I like the song.
But there was something really wrong with the audio setup. Her microphone was turned way up but the members of the band, you could barely hear them. It gave you a very clear listen to her voice and it sounded weak and nervous. I had to turn it off, it made me too nervous listening to her.
She is cute.

Flat? Didn't sound that way on SNL.
I like the way she gave her band the thumbs up on SNL. She knew they nailed it. She did not know she was on-camera when that was going down. Cool to see.

It's always interesting to me how sometimes artists sound horrible on television broadcasts...makes me wonder if the live audience is subjected to the same nail\chaulkboard screeching performance I'm cringing to.
I enjoyed her first CD but haven't heard her sophmore effort yet. Anyone listen to it and have an opinion?

Don't let Toze see that pic. I'm concerned for his health.Haven't heard much of her stuff, but she just belted out a few tunes on SNL this evening. While I was not exactly blown away by the music or performance (perfectly listenable, I suppose), the girl is awfully easy on the eyes. :yes:

Her performance on the last country awards was just absolutely horrendous. Those folks who make those perfect pitch machines for recording studios have no worries of going out of business with "artists" like Taylor around.

I think thats the awards show I was thinking of while reading this thread. She came out and I was very un-impressed with all the hype she has. Then Martina McBride came out and the talent difference was laughable...of course Martina can make a lot of people sound (and look) bad.
