Things not looking good for Onkyo / Pioneer

I had a big Onkyo Av reciever the Tx-989 it worked and sounded great but the the promised downloadable upgrades and customer support ended after 3 yrs.I was pissed.

Lightning took mine, but yeah, those promises dried up quickly.

Mine will one day get to Leesonic for a full upgrade. Until then, it is sparingly used. I mean.....just look at that.

Onkyo is now handled by AudioVox/Klipsch Group in the USA. And still in business.

At least that is good to know. I am sad that these classic brands are disappearing.
