Wish they had sent me a copy at the newspaper. I would have given them a good review.

At least one guy from TKO here, so that gives you an idea.

CD lacks low end. I almost wonder if it’s a vinyl rip that wasn’t run through an RIAA preamp.

I knew a few of these guys. Lead guitarist Darren was one of the very nicest guys you could ever meet.

Saw an online review compare Axtion to Riot. About right. Early ‘80s HR/HM here. Saw ‘em a few times in the clubs.

Cleaning the bathroom and this is what’s on the spin list.

A year or two ago, I became interested in those earnest and hardworking underdog bands who slugged it out in the clubs and never got to the big leagues. I understand their frustration.

I am reminded of the hair bands I had seen at places like Danger Zone in Myrtle Beach at the end of that era.

Saw Friction from Erie. They were okay, aped Van Hagar stage moves. Don’t remember if they sold merch. Tried to find their CD, but insane sellers want a king’s ransom.

As a writer, I was thinking in ‘90 - ‘91, something’s gotta give. This can’t go on forever. And it didn’t.

Some good stuff here. Outstanding lead guitar work. Well worth seeking out.
