What's British in your system?

Just my old 1960 Garrard 301 and Michell Focus One decks and its old British owner. The 301 is only for playing my granddads 1920s jazz gramophone record……judging by the records, he liked Al Bowlly.

Garrard LAB 80 that came with an Empire 888pe cart, Garrard Type A, Garrard DD131that had a Shure V15 III cart mounted. Bought the DD131 for the Shure V15III cartridge.

All have been restored, serviced, tuned and sounding excellent.

Nothing. So much of what was once "British" is simply a name now made in China (sort of like Marantz). Thankfully, still some good British made gear, but just don't own any at the moment.

All the tea I drink all day. I work from home and my teapot never gets cold.

I listen to LBC Radio in London when I’m working and it’s a talk radio station, dedicated to having a bloody good old moan about the everything in Britain.

I like listening to the miserable old sods that phone up, saying how everything in Britain was wonderful in the 1950s; blimey they still had to have ration books until 1954 and petrol rationing only finished in 1950!
